Proposal Writing Training for Academic and Research Scholarships

“Proposal Writing Training for Academic and Research Scholarships”, which is a carefully designed training course that seeks to provide a comprehensive introduction to writing proposal(s) for scholarships. This training is organized as ‌a foundation course for anyone who is not familiar with or confident in writing scholarship proposals, especially for young and emerging researchers. 

This course targets academic researchers that are new to writing the scholarship(s) proposal. This course will provide knowledge about scholarship(s) and an introduction to the fundamental tools for scholarship(s) proposal preparation to the researchers enabling the deeper understanding of as well as ability to apply various scholarship(s) in their respective field of studies. 

With this particular focus on scholarship(s), the course will cover the following: 

  1. Scholarship(s) opportunities and understanding the source(s)
  2. Timeline, screen process and requirements: Two scholarship sources
  3. Preparation of proposal for scholarship(s) and
  4. Submission mechanism(s). Also, in this training, there will include the practice, and individual discussion at the end. 

The course will be fully online, and the trainer will help the participants to the skills in preparing the scholarship proposal(s) through lectures and interactive learning, and assignments. There will be assignments to assess participants’ understanding of the content of the training at the end of each session. Therefore, participants are encouraged to follow the guidance during lectures and complete all assignments on time to receive the completion certificate of the course. The assessment criteria for the completion are detailed in the Assignment Criteria section.

This course is designed and offered in collaboration with the Pyin Nya Man Daing Programme and the YCU Research Institute.
