Outreach and Collaborations

The YRI always stands ready for collaborations and joint projects with like-minded educational and civil society organisations from Myanmar, ASEAN and broader international community. Guided by a robust Communication and Outreach Strategy, we actively seek for partnerships to create synergy effects, avoid duplication and complement each other’s works. We firmly believe that constructive alliances are vital in promoting values that the YRI is committed to, especially in today’s global political climate and declining support for human rights and social science education. In addition, the YRI also fostered communication and exchange with a range of organisations and higher education institutions. These included Konrad Ardenauer Foundation, University of Zurich, Palacký University Olomouc, Digital Public Square, Thammasat University and Universitas Padjadjaran.

 The following is a selection of collaborations that the YRI expect to take part in.  

• Joint research seminars and webinars on Myanmar 
• Co-providing training including Digital Security Training
• Participation in the institutional research project application / Joint research grant application
