Quantitative Research Training (Intermediate Level)
“Quantitative Research Training (Intermediate Level)” is a carefully designed training course that seeks to provide an intermediate level knowledge on quantitative data analysis. This training is organized as a course for anyone who already has basic knowledge in quantitative research and is familiar with quantitative data, especially for young and emerging researchers. This course will help them better understanding of quantitative research and will support them to be able to apply some statistical concepts and functions in their quantitative research.
With this particular focus, the course will cover the following:
(1) Quantitative research and its process (Recap)
(2) Two main approaches of quantitative research
(3) Conducting research for both approaches
(4) Presenting research and
(5) Research ethics. Also, in this training, there will include the hand-on practices.
The course will be fully online, and the trainer will help the participants to develop intermediate level skills in quantitative research and analyzing the quantitative data through lectures and interactive learning, and assignments. There will be assignments to assess participants’ understanding of the content of the training at the end of each session. Therefore, participants are encouraged to follow the guidance during lectures and complete all assignments on time to receive the completion certificate of the course. The assessment criteria for the completion are detailed in the Assignment Criteria section. This course is designed and offered in collaboration with the PNMD Programme and the YCU Research Institute.
